I've been on the hunt for something in an olive green color and I stumbled across this shirtdress at my local New York and Company store.  As soon as I tried the dress, I was sold.  It was so comfy, flattering and came in the color I was searching for.  This was the first shirtdress I tried and it won't be my last.

Since the olive green was such a warm, earthy shade, I paired it with brown and gold accessories.  The scarf complimented the dress well even though there was no green in the scarf!  I kept everything pretty simple.  I also loved trying this messy braided updo - it was so easy to do and I will definitely try it again!
