I can't believe that July flew by so fast. I'm back to share my goodies from last month's Ipsy bag as I await August spoilers! Overall a great month of products that I had never tried before.
1.) Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer
I think this was the most coveted sample of the month. I love all Tarte items I've tried in the past, so I was excited to get this bronzer. It's not highly pigmented for my skin color, but the shade is gorgeous! It'll be great for work and everyday use.
2.) Jor'el Parker Rollerball Perfume in Classico
I was excited to see a perfume sample in my Ipsy bag, and on top of that, it was a rollerball with enough product for more than one use! I can definitely smell floral undertones, which is right up my alley; this makes for a great summer scent. The perfume didn't seem to last long, but it's easy enough to reapply! I've already thrown this in my purse because you never know when you need a touch up!
3.) Be A Bombshell Lip Balm in Ruby
This brand isn't one of my favorites, but I really liked this lip balm. It was very moisturizing and felt nice on my lips. The only problem is that there was no tint when I applied. Because of that, I wouldn't purchase this again, but it's a great balm aside from that.
4.) Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Gel Soapless Cleanser
I liked this cleanser a lot. It was light and cleansing without feeling dry on my skin. It also had the perfect amount of lather. The light scent was refreshing. Even after a few hours (and a major workout) but skin stayed oil free. Another great skincare product for the summer!
5.) Ofra Cosmetics Bliss Eyeshadow
Ipsy sends way too many eyeshadows in the same color. This may be a different brand, but I'm still not too excited about this. I also don't like the packaging-it'll be harder to store since I don't use magnetic cases. The shade is gorgeous and has the perfect amount of sparkle. I'll be using this as a highlighter, but I've also found that mixing it with face creme or foundation ads a bit of healthy illumination for your face!
Another great month for Ipsy. This is definitely worth the monthly $10, and I love the mystery of finding out what products I get to try each month. I can't wait to see what August will bring.
