As always, I was so excited to open this month's Ipsy package! I was thrilled to see a mostly skincare selection as my makeup collection is overflowing. I was happy with all of my items, and the bag design was just adorable. Let's take a closer look at what I got!
Let's start with some skincare goodies!
1.) Tarte Maracuja Oil
How cute is this little bottle?! I'm so impressed by the quality and size of this sample Maraca Oil. I've heard about this product and had been wanting to try it. As someone with combination/oily prone skin, I actually love oils because they provide lots of moisture without the greasy buildup. A little goes a long way, and my skin definitely felt and looked brighter after one use. Ipsy mentioned that this can be used in a variety of ways, including as a frizz fighter, on nails, and as a makeup remover. This is a win win win in my book!
2.) Naobay Eye Contour Cream
Eye creams are great for some people, but thankfully not a concern of mine at the moment. However I am all about trying new products, especially when they come from other countries (Spain in the case of Naobay!) Again with this, a little product goes a long way. I can't comment of effectiveness, but my eye area definitely felt refreshed! Another tip for this is to apply on the backs of hands to keep them youthful.
3.) Leaders Cosmetics Aloe Soothing Renewal Mask & Aquaringer Treatment Mask
Sheet masks are all the rage right now. But with winter weather looming, these masks came just in time. I can't wait to try the Aquaringer mask, which is for dry, right skin, but the Aloe will come in handy as well.
4.) SLMissGlam Angled Eye Brush
I pretty frequently get brushes in my Ipsy bags, but I fell in love with this pretty brush. I loved the pink bristles and the bling , plus this is super soft. It's also cruelty free.
5.) theBalm Mad Lash Mascara
I loooove getting mascara in my makeup subscriptions. Even though I have my favorites, I will also try a new mascara. This is going into my pile to test out. I do think this line is adorable (I love the vintage imagery on the full size mascara), and from what I can see of the curved brush, I'm pretty excited to see what it can do!
Overall another win for Ipsy. Loved the variety of products, especially since they were mostly skincare items. I can't wait to dig into everything!
