Summer is really flying by! I been using some really great skincare and beauty products lately so I wanted to share some of my favorites. But before we dig in, how cute is this makeup bag by Crimes of Beauty. It's huge enough to fill for vacation, but fits all the everyday essentials as well. I'm loving the Wake Up, Slay bag, but there are 2 other options as well as a bunch of smaller bags. Definitely worth the purchase! Now onto the products...
Barefoot Botanicals Rose Geranium Hydrosol
Hydrosol is something that I recently learned about and am loving. I use this rose geranium hydrosol as a toner in the morning before moisturizing. It has a delicate scent and helps control oil. I'll have to dive further into hydrosols in a future post!
L'Oreal Revitalift Moisturizer c/o
I recently received this in an Influenster box and am obsessed. I use it both day and night and skin is feeling super moisturized and healthy. An added bonus is that is has anti-aging benefits. I use it immediately after the hydrosol, when my skin is still a bit damp!
Maybelline Master Prime Skin Primer
I've tried a few primers, but I'm really loving this Maybelline version for summer. It has SPF and a light glow while controlling shine at the same time. You can even use this without foundation.
Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse
Maybelline is my favorite drugstore brand, and this foundation does not disappoint! It's lightweight but has great coverage!
Temptu Bronzer
This is a sample I got in an Ipsy bag, and while it's not dark enough to be a bronzer on my skin, I love using this for highlight. Sometimes I'll add a bit into my foundation for some added glow!
Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Quickie
I love anything from Urban Decay, and the bright pink shade caught my eye. This has great color payoff, but this can be layered for more color! This also lasts longer than other blushes I've tried!
Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer
I love lash primers! They always make lashes pop!
GA-DE Idylic Mascara c/o
This is my favorite mascara right now, and I've tried a bunch. This creates dramatic lashes that are perfect for everyday use. It also smells nice. Check out my review on it here for more on the results!
Rimmel London Soft Kohl Eyeliner
If I do use eyeliner, I love a jet black shade for an extra pop.
Pacifica Power of Love Lipstick in Sweet One (also love Tenderness)
This was another Ipsy discovery, and I have to say that I'm really loving it. Sweet One was an Ipsy exclusive, and is the perfect nude shade.
Glo Minerals Suede Matte Lipstick in Punch (also loving this Lip Crayons)
When I want a pop of color, I love Punch. It's the perfect pink!
Living Proof Flex Shaping Hairspray
I don't do much with my hair, but I love everything from Living Proof, including this hairspray. I've been using it for a while, mostly as a finishing spray and for the scent! It always makes me feel so put together.
Kat von D Perfume in Saint and Sinner c/o
Loving these perfume samples, also an Influenster find! I have to say that I'm more of a Saint, but they both smell nice. Saint has floral notes and Sinner has more of a spicy scent.
That's my skincare routine. I mix and match depending on the day, and I do try to keep my look light and natural during the summer!

That bag is cute. A nice conversation piece in the right spots, lol. I received that Revitalift too and like it! I did want to check out the Living Proof spray.
ReplyDeleteLove the make-up bag, I hardly wear makeup, but these are great products you chose.
ReplyDeletewhat's in your makeup bag is brilliant but the makeup bag itself is to die for! I love kat von d products, I think they are cruelty free and vegan too!
ReplyDeleteI fancy trying the Urban Decay Blush, I've never been disappointed by any of their products. xx
ReplyDeleteI love lash primer too but I've never tried the Urban Decay one, I'm going to have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I do tend to go for higher end foundation as I've had some bad luck with dept. store brands. I do want to try the Liquid Mousse now, though!
ReplyDeleteThat bag is super cute but it wouldn't fit my stuff. Too much of a product junkie. Maybe for a weekend travel and sticking the bare essentials in.
ReplyDeleteI love reading posts like these! I wrote one just like this. Ha, beauty product junkies love same things apparently:)
ReplyDeleteYou have a great selection going on! You listed both light weight and long lasting makeup and it's just perfect for summer. I'm dying to try the UD blush!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely interested in trying out that toner! It sounds lovely and anything to control oil is a plus!

ReplyDeleteLiving Proof is one of my favorite hair product brands! I love that you have some name-brand items mixed in with budget-friendly drugstore brands. Maybelline is one of my favorites too :)

Thanks for sharing this post. I've been meaning to give the Dream Mousse a try. It looks really lightweight with medium coverage. The little Kat Von D perfume looks like a must-try too.
