Zaful Bow Blouse c/o | Kohls Pants, old (linked some cute alternatives below) | Furry Coat | Target Heels, no longer available | AmiClubwear Crossbody c/o
I'm pretty sure these are my favorite pants in my wardrobe right now. That being said, I'm so glad my current job doesn't require me to dress business casual! Now I can do it for fun. The great thing about these pants is that they transition into a great nighttime look with the right styling.
There are many ways to style printed pants and I'm sharing a few of my favorites with you today.
5 Ways to Style Printed Pants
- White Blouse - This is the classic look that's perfect for any occasion, but your white blouse does not have to be boring. I'm in love with the bow on the sleeves (I know this was at Zara a few months ago but I missed out and was so happy to see a similar version at Zaful!)
- A Pop of Color - Adding a pop of color always takes an outfit to the next level (in my opinion!) The easiest way to do this is with a colorful top. I paired these pants with my favorite mustard sweater for fall, and am thinking a baby blue or lavender would be great for spring.
- Print Mixing - I'm always up for a print mixing challenge. This simple black and white pattern is perfect for pairing with a print. It's always best to find prints in the same color family, so blacks and whites are ideal for these pants. Another tip is to vary print sizes; since this print is tiny, I would love to pair with an oversized print. I will be on the lookout for a great floral blouse to pair with these pants next.
- Duster, Vest or Cardi - I cannot get enough of layered looks, and an easy way to achieve this is with a long duster vest or cardi! The great thing is this is a look that can be transitioned between seasons, especially when the weather is hit or miss. A long black sweater vest or sleeveless blazer would be so cute with these pants.
- Tee - Lately I've been loving the contrast of casual with dressy pieces. A vintage tee, or any tee really, would be really cute along with a blazer or moto jacket.
Of course there are more ways to style printed pants, especially when you think about accessories but I'll keep it simple for this blog post!
But speaking of accessories, I want to highlight a few other parts of my outfit! First off, I'm obsessed with this furry jacket, for obvious reasons! And how cute is this crossbody. Between the floral embroidery and the studded detail, I'm in love. And it's topped off with a removable striped strap which adds a sporty touch! This bag is a must have ladies!
