Happy March dolls! We're one step closer to spring, but it sure didn't feel springy today with yet another snowstorm. I did however get a sneak peek of this year's annual PHS Flower Show, which is an event I look forward to every year.
The Philly Flower Show is a famous local event; famous because people literally travel from all over the world to attend this 8 day show! I've gone for the past 3 years (check out previous recaps here and here) and knew that I wasn't missing out on this year's show.
My interest was piqued when I heard about the theme - Flower Power. I really loved how the theme tied into this main display.
However there is plenty more to see in the 10 acre show floor! Something I learned on my tour was that every display is part of a competition. It was an amazing experience to see the designers putting together their displays live as part of the FTD "World Cup" competition.
I'm all for interactive exhibits, and another exhibit that I really loved was The Mindful Minute which involved the different senses. This was also one of the most Instagrammable exhibits!
I didn't get a chance to see the entire show, so I'm planning to go again! I can't wait to see everything, including the exhibits that were part of this morning's competition!
The show runs from March 2-10. Hours and ticketing info can be found on their website. Are you headed to the show this week? If so, I'd love to hear what you think!
Special thanks to the PHS for letting me check out the Flower Show today!
