Hey guys! Can you believe it's already a week into July - this summer is flying by! After a mini break from blog posts, I've been gathering some new fashion content that I cannot wait to share.
To kickoff this month's posts, I wanted to share photos from one of my favorite layered looks (and favorite photo shoots with my friend Audrey!) As a bonus, I'm also sharing some fun facts about myself because I've never done a proper introduction, so keep reading for that!
I'm always looking for ways to transform my pieces so it keeps my wardrobe feeling new and fresh. This is more of a transitional look, but it's easy enough to swap for a white tee and sandals for summer days.
I've been loving jumpsuits for a while, but the options out right now are so cute. Floral prints are of course a favorite, but I'm also loving ruffle hems and sleeves. I'm also loving stripes and eyelet for the season. Jumpsuits are such an easy piece to dress up or down, making it a staple in my wardrobe.
If you follow me on Insta, you've probably seen my accessories, which are some of my favorites. I still cannot get enough of hair accessories, and this pearl clip pairs well with so many outfits. The straw bag is another summer staple. I love that it's holds so much without looking bulky.
A new favorite is this chain belt. I never really thought of myself as a belt person, but this adds such a fun detail to any outfit. There are so many cute chain belts out there and I'm thinking of all the ways to style them.
Thanks for reading to this point! Let's get to some fun facts!

Fun Facts About Me
- My name is Priyanka and I'm based in Philly. I started blogging four years ago because I always wanted to work in the fashion industry, but found it hard to break into the industry.
- I often get asked about how I chose the name Paint The Town Chic. When I first started, the blog was called Pri's Fashionable Finds, but I wanted something catchier.
- I love art and have worked in so many mediums - oil painting is my favorite but I've also tried pastels, sketching, sculpture, mixed media, marbling and silk screening. Next, I really want to try watercolor.
- Speaking of silk screening, I've never had a "normal" job. My first job at 15 was a silk screening internship at the Fabric Workshop and Museum.
- Before blogging, I wrote book reviews for various publishers. I read the Gossip Girl books before they were released, along with many other books! I still read a lot and enjoy it!
- I was basically born with a passport, but sadly I traveled more as a child than as an adult. It has been very difficult to travel with my last few jobs. The places at the top of my travel list are Cuba, Morocco, and Kenya/Giraffe Manor.
- As a baby/child, I was told I loved boat rides and walks around the mall. These things are still true to this day, haha.
- I hated pants as a child. Once, I was sent home from school because I had overalls on and was really upset. My opinion on pants has changed, but I still don't wear overalls.
- I never had a pet growing up, but a few years ago we ended up with a cat and she's the cutest thing ever.
- I loveeee spicy food and my food of choice is Thai!
