A few years ago, I was introduced to Dîner en Blanc, a secret picnic hosted all over the world where guests wear white and enjoy an evening of good company, food and decor. This exclusive event can be difficult to attend, so read up on that process here for next year.

Since we are days away from the big event, I wanted to focus on outfit ideas. I'm still deciding on what to wear (and I may be asking for your help to decide, so keep watching on my stories!) There are just a few rules to follow - outfits must be elegant, tasteful, and ALL WHITE.

Outfits
For special occasions, I typically opt for a dress. You cannot go wrong with a white summer sundress, and as we are in the middle of summer, it shouldn't be hard to locate one in store (check out Old Navy, H&M, Norstrom, Urban Outfitters and Free People) or you could scour Amazon like I did.

Styles that I'm loving are ruffle hems, slip dresses, and big sleeve details. I'm also into two pieces, though they are harder for me to find. Scroll through some of my favs!



The other option that is elegant and perfect for summer - jumpsuits! I love a good jumpsuit, but keep the bathroom situation, or lack thereof, in mind.

Accessories

This is where all-white gets tricky IMO!

Let's start with one thing we all need, shoes. When selecting the shoe of the night, make sure to consider comfort. You will be walking to your location, and there is a possibility that you may be walking on grass.



Accessories are so hard to find. Pearls are a go-to option for me. I'm also really into transparent pieces this season. Also consider hair accessories to finish off your look!
