Whether you're a Target obsessed shopper, or an admirer of LoveShackFancy, you've heard, seen and probably tried some of the dresses from the new Designer Collaboration that was released earlier this month! Something that Target did a great job with this collection is inclusive sizing, the sizes range from XXS to 3XL. They also featured a diverse group of models on the website. Both details were very much appreciated.

Prior to the release, I made my shopping list based on the photos online. What I ended up with is quite different that what I expected to like, but seeing people wear these dresses in "real life" versus a stock photo really changed my mind!

Let's get started with my try-on mirror selfies (please excuse the quality!) I was just excited to do my first try-on session since quarantine started in March.

Louise Pintuck Yoke Dress
Of all the dresses in the collection, this was my must-have! I loved the yellow floral print, the lace detailing and the sleeves. After trying it on, I absolutely love it. It is definitely short (especially coming from me being 5'1".) This dress can also be worn backwards, which offers more styling opportunities. This style also comes in a white option, which is also stunning! I thought the dress was well made!

Sizing: I'm wearing a small, my usual size. I did find this to feel a little snug, so I could have sized up.

Simone Smocked Dress
This was one of the dresses that I initially saw online and hated it. But after seeing ladies share photos in it, I was sold. I needed to at least try this. This dress is super girly and makes you feel like a princess. This dress is so flattering on every height. For me, it's a maxi that I can wear with flats if I wanted, but on taller ladies, it hits above the ankle. The sleeves are beautiful and can be worn on or off the shoulder. I also styled it with a belt here, but it's just as cute without one. This dress is another favorite from the collection.

Sizing: This one runs big. I actually sized down to an XXS (the only size that was available.) This is very roomy and I would size down.

Jeanne Tie-Strap Tiered Dress
This is the only other mini dress I snagged. This beauty also came in a longer version, but that sold out immediately. I was more drawn to this shorter length because of my height. I love the mixing of prints and the sweet tie detail. This dress also doesn't feel as short as the yellow one. And did I mention the pockets! This is such a cute dress and I'm glad to have it for those hot summer days ahead.

Sizing: I ordered a size small. It fits great, but if you're looking at available sizes, I could probably wear a size smaller or a size bigger.

Cosette Smocked Puff Sleeve Dress
Here's another dress that caught my eye after seeing other ladies wear it! It is the sweetest midi dress that is a reminiscent of LoveShackFancy styles.

Sizing: I'm wearing an XS and it fits perfectly. I would say get your true size or size down for the best fit.

Estelle Puff Sleeve Dress (also comes in yellow!)
This is the dress that I added as a whim. It is such a whimsical dress that is definitely a statement piece so I wanted to give it a try. It's beautiful, just like the others. The sleeves on this one is definitely one of my favorite features, but I'm a fan of big sleeve details. This is one of the dresses that had complaints about the fabric, but it didn't bother me personally. The dress also has a side zipper, which most of the others don't.

Sizing: I got a size 6, my usual size, but it is really big on top. Since it comes with a belt, that helps tighten the waist. I would size down in this dress.

The majority of the collection sold out online, but select Target stores may still have stock. Returns have been hitting the shelves and I've even spotted some online, so I wanted to share my thoughts on this collection as well as some feedback on the clothes in case you have the opportunity to snag a piece!

So you may be wondering about the other two collections from Cushnie and Lisa Marie Fernandez. I did not pick up any pieces by them but after seeing all the try-ons that have been shared, I have added additional pieces to my cart. They are stunning and I highly recommend taking a look online!

I have to be honest and say that I did not know these designers before their collections dropped, but that is the beauty of this partnership. You'll hear comments about the quality of the clothes, or people thinking these designers cheapen their brand by partnering with a store like Target. I think it's the opposite and is a great way of giving us the opportunity to purchase clothes at a price point we can afford as well as introduce us to designers we may not heard of before.

Did you snag anything from any of these three collections? I'd love to know your favs!
